Joe Muggs

Joe Muggs is best known as a journalist, writing about music from the most micro-niche to full mainstream for a broad range of titles. But he's been involved in music and culture in a variety of other capacities since the start of the 1990s. As a creative writer, performer, promoter, A&R and DJ, he's been involved with many strange and perplexing events, collaborations and releases. His Adventures in Dubstep and Beyond and Grime 2.0 compilations still stand up as vital documents, and he currently presents an ambient show on Worldwide FM. His first book – BASS MIDS TOPS, in collaboration with photographer Brian David Stevens – is published by Strange Attractor later this spring.
